Fashion Week fever has hit London hard and thanks to some absolutely appalling timing, I'm missing out on all the fun: less than two weeks ago, when Somerset House was of no real interest to me, I lived only a short train ride away.  Now that it is filled with all things wonderful and fashion-related, I'm in entirely the wrong country!  The good news is that my fancy new life in Barcelona also comes with a decent internet connection, so I've been able to happily keep up with all things LFW while enjoying the sunshine and sipping on cheap pink cava - all is not lost?!

So yes, thanks to all you lovely bloggers who are currently residing and reporting on all things Fashion Week (and sparking a huge debate amongst threatened media types - a story for another post I think?) I have seen more than enough photos and stories of the last few days in London town to get a real feel for the A/W10 collections.  And I've been very, very impressed by the latest offerings; never more so than by this from Unique at Topshop...

Fur.  Sheepskin.  Duffel Coats.  Thick woollen knitwear.  Crunchy leaves underfoot.  Khaki and burnt orange hues.  Even the animal-themed headdresses.  Everything about this collection screams autumnal cosiness - it almost makes me want to skip through summer and don a pair of antlers along with my fur coat and woolly scarf!  And don't even get me started on the wildly backcombed hair; if that's what this autumn is going to be about, I am there in heartbeat!
