But, what minutes? Count them by sensation, and not by calendars, and each moment is a day. - Benjamin Disraeli.

Strange how some of the most incredible times are the most difficult to put into words?

A month in Barcelona, a whole month.  And while in some respects it's flashed by a little too quickly, I can't help but feel rather settled here; like everything that came before is somehow quite distant, further away than I would expect it to be after only a few weeks.  Not that life in Barcelona isn't absolutely wonderful, quite the opposite in fact - it's just that these places, these people, they all feel so familiar by now that it's quite difficult to believe they've only been present in my life for such a short time.

It has been utterly fantastic though; a bizarre cocktail made up of late nights and crazy dancing, quiet nights in with peppermint tea and films, long Skype chats with my very best friends, vaguely cultural wanderings around this beautiful city and a whole lot of reading and writing.

And it's not over yet.  Far from it - two weeks left before Easter, into which I must somehow squeeze a weekend trip to Valencia, St. Patrick's day celebrations and a visit from some of my lovely uni girls.  Then it's back to England to play a quick game of 'how-many-people-can-I-see-in-two-weeks' before my very best friend joins me out here in Barcelona for a few days.  Oooh, so much excitement, so very little time - maybe I'll get some work done at some point?!
