(I would like to point out that this is not the video being slated in this post, but an example of the xx at their very best...)
My love for 'the xx' is no secret; I've been positively raving about them for months now and encouraging everyone from my little brother to the next door neighbour's cat to listen to them, buy their album and essentially follow my lead by declaring undying and eternal love for them.
So yeah, I kind of, maybe like this band a little bit, and just might have had their album on repeat for the last million years (or at least a few months...)
Now, imagine my excitement when that faithful red light on my Blackberry alerted me to the news that my absolute favourite band of the moment and the geniuses at DazedDigital.com had made an 'Exclusive The XX film'.
Wow, the xx and Dazed & Confused, could a collaboration possibly get any better than that?!
Erm, yeah, actually.
Turns out that this 'exclusive film' is also the most heart-crushingly disappointing thing to grace the media world since Robbie decided to pursue his solo career.

Eugh.
This absolute travesty is yet to hit youtube (although I doubt I could bare to give it airtime anyway, so that may be best for all concerned) but feel free to go and waste a minute and forty-seven seconds of your life here - there's also a classic comment from a chap called Benjamin, who seems to share my disgust, several times over!

Sorry for your disappointment!
