The fairies break their dances and leave the printed lawn. - A. E. Housman.

Just as I think I'm getting to know Barcelona and fully comprehend what it has to offer, I stumble across wonderful new places and am reminded of (and slightly intimidated by) just how amazing this city truly is.

Our most recent escapades led us to a new bar, 'El Bosc de les Fades', which literally translates to 'the forest of the fairies'.  As the name would suggest, the interior resembles a magical, fairy-inhabited forest, complete with waterfall, bridge and many, many fairy lights.  The whole experience is incredibly over-the-top and really quite bizarre - some of the 'fairy' dolls are actually rather creepy - but the amazing sense of magic ultimately shines through and my inner-child couldn't help but fall in love with the place.

The next few weeks are looking rather hectic; the Easter break from uni means lots of visitors to receive and visiting to be done, I'm barely going to have time to breathe between now and mid-April but I promise to do my best not to neglect you all as I'm sure I'll have lots of exciting things to share!
