I'm the first to admit I had serious reservations over the decision to make a second Sex and the City film; it's not that I don't absolutely adore the series - I have watched every single episode over the course of the last seven years and it never fails to cheer me up - or even that I didn't enjoy the first film, despite some initial misgivings.  If anything, I think it's that I love the girls and the world that they live in a little too much and am afraid of the implications of another film - could it ruin everything we all know and love about our favourite show?

Despite my concerns, the release date edges ever closer and there is one thing that never fails to fill me with excitement - the clothes!  Patricia Field has already proved herself to be an absolute styling genius and I cannot wait to see where she'll take Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha next...

In the name of  all things promotional and raising the profile of the soon-to-be-released second film, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis made an appearance at the ShoWest awards in Las Vegas and, in true 'Sex and the City' style, the trio wore not just one, but two fabulous dresses over the course of the evening.

Personally, I prefer both Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon's black dresses over their more colourful offerings, but when it comes to SJP, I am quite literally torn between the two - sparkly yellow Lanvin or heavenly black Marchesa?
