So, if you've been paying attention, it shouldn't have escaped your notice that I have recently upped and moved to Barcelona.  This can mean only one thing - new city, new flat, new bedroom!  A blank canvas upon which to make my mark, imprint my personality and create my own little corner of the world.

It's very much work in progress - I want to get some posters to go behind the bed and will continue to collect ticket stubs and photographs to adorn the walls - but goes a long way to make me feel more settled and at home in this huge, new city.  Looking at these photographs and everything around me, it is quite hard to believe that I only brought one small(ish) suitcase on my travels; I've filled the room up rather nicely and it definitely feels like my place, rather than one that I will be merely inhabiting for the next five months.

This burst of decorating and vague creativity was largely fuelled by a new-found addiction to 'Coeur de Pirate' - a wonderful singer who's enchanting melodies I first discovered courtesy of the lovely Isabelle at Bohemian Musings and have been listening to on an almost constant loop ever since.
